Our People - Business Development

Anthony has 25 years of business development experience in the financial services marketplace, working across the whole value chain. From 1994 to 2005 Anthony was responsible for business development, client services and marketing for Cogent – a pioneer of back and middle office outsourcing for investment managers. Prior to that he was Sales and Marketing Director for GT's UK funds business as well being significantly involved in the development of their Luxembourg funds business.
Most recently he was Strategic Business Development Director at Cofunds, and then remained involved as a consultant assisting in the development of their institutional business.
He joined Phoenix in 2009. Anthony is a graduate from Bristol University and is a Chartered Accountant.

Sophie has 14 years experience of working in financial services, covering roles in financial management, investment research and more recently selecting hedge funds and creating portfolios for a fund of funds and for private clients. Her career started at Goldman Sachs in London, embraced roles at Aon Consulting and Nedgroup Investments and most recently UBS Wealth Management.
Sophie joined Phoenix in the New Year, 2011. She is a graduate of Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Paris and a CFA charterholder.

Polly has over 10 years of financial services experience. She joined Phoenix in 2009 having worked at IFDS for 7 years in roles including Business Analysis and Business Development. Prior to that, and after completing her degree, Polly worked at Lloyds Bank Stockbrokers and City Deal Serivces on their share dealing desks.
Polly is a graduate in English and Politics.
